Delivery for Brooklyn makers and small studios
Hudson Shipping Co is a Brooklyn cargo bike courier. We carry goods from makers' studios to galleries, shops and customers across Brooklyn, same day, without you needing a van.
From your studio to the buyer
Makers ship in small, irregular batches: a piece for a gallery, a box for a shop, a custom order for a customer. A van is overkill for most of it and a rideshare cannot take it. We pick up at your door and deliver the same day when you book in the morning.
What we carry
Boxed goods, pieces for galleries and furniture all have a bike. Parcels and boxes go in the enclosed Venture (13 ft³ box, up to 400 lb per trip). Larger pieces and awkward shapes go on the open Flatbed, with a 16 ft² deck and side rails. See the fleet page.
Say when you book if a piece is fragile.
One-off or recurring
If you ship now and then, book a same-day courier job. If you supply a shop or a market every week, a recurring route saves you rebooking.
